2016 Summer intern applications now available
The Lambda Chi Alpha International Headquarters has openings for summer internships. Housing will be paid for, and interns will work a 40-hour week at $12/hour. Applications are due no later than 5 p.m. EST on April 8, 2016. The internships begin June 13, 2016, and conclude on August 12, 2016.

The following positions are available:
Business Affairs
- Responsible for managing data and paperwork related to compliance in the accounting and human resource aspect of overall operations.
- Tax filings, local and state compliance and audit schedules will be the main focus as well as some donor tracking and budgeting.
- Interested in pursuing a career in finance, accounting, or nonprofit management
Chapter Services
- Develop content for Strategic Plan initiatives
- Organization data retention, research and updates
- Assist with volunteer certification compliance paperwork and operations
- Management of large mailings related to upcoming expansions
- Campus expansion research and metrics
- Assistance with special projects assigned by the Director.
Communications (2)
- Help with graphics/collateral for ongoing marketing communications work
- Assist with copy writing and editing
- Create promotional videos for summer conference
- Generate content and ideas for public website
- Take photos/video at summer conference for social media
- Assist with production of meals/events at summer conference, including videos and PowerPoint slides
- Write and publish social media posts
- Help build/manage mobile content
- Perform other tasks as requested
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Final Cut Pro, and high-end camera/video equipment
- Must have positive attitude, strong work ethic, be independent, professional behavior, and accept constructive feedback
- Pursuing a marketing, communications, new media, journalism, or related degree
Education & Harm Reduction
- Assist with planning, developing, and preparing for Steward Summit and General Assembly, in regards to education and programming
- Assist in planning of Harm Reduction Education for the Fall 2016 semester
- Scan and organize sign-in sheets, evaluation surveys, and other educational documents for Steward Summit and General Assembly
- Data review and updates regarding annual RMA and Harm Reduction Reports
- Review the Outer Circle implementation scores and identify areas of improvements for each chapter by developing an educational summary report
- Analyze educational assessment and evaluation surveys (i.e. Conclave Evaluation) and provide summary reports
- Review Lambda Chi Alpha’s current officer resources and provide recommendations
- Research other organizations’ standards/accreditation programs and provide recommendations
Executive Office
- Assist in management of General Assembly legislation process
- Assist the Associate Director of Executive Operations with tasks relating to General Assembly and the Grand High Zeta
- Assist with mailings to alumni and VIP’s
- Develop content for Strategic Plan initiatives
