- Regular Registration Closes: May 15, 2016. A late registration penalty of $150 will be assessed to any chapter or brother registering after May 15. This penalty will increase to $250 after June 15, 2016. No registrations will be accepted after July 15, 2016.
Who should go from my chapter?
Everyone from your chapter or colony is eligible to attend the 56th General Assembly and Stead Leadership Seminar. The High Alpha, High Zeta officers/aspiring leaders, and anyone interested in leadership and character development. Your High Pi and other alumni volunteers will also benefit a significant amount from the experience.
What is a chapter delegate?
The delegate is each Chapter or Colony’s individual representation in the legislative committees and on the floor of the General Assembly. Each Chapter or Colony is allowed only one delegate. He is also responsible for presenting a complete report of the proceedings at the first regular Chapter/Colony meeting following General Assembly.
How do I register?
Online Registration will begin March 3, 2016.
When do I need to arrive?
Everyone should arrive at the Trump National by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2016. If you are participating on the International Ritual team, you must arrive prior to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, August 3, as training will begin that afternoon.
What are the travel and flight arrangements?
Flying:
For brothers flying to Miami for the 56th General Assembly and Stead Leadership Seminar, Lambda Chi Alpha will provide shuttle transportation to the Trump National on Thursday, August 4, 2016. Shuttles will run from Miami International Airport (MIA) only, and will pick brothers up at all terminals. Shuttles will run from around 8:30am to 2:45pm, with the final shuttle leaving the airport at 2:45pm.
Driving:
For brothers driving to Trump National, please use the address listed on the summary page for directions. Upon arrival and check in, you will be given a parking pass by the hotel. You must self-park for your fees to be covered by the Fraternity. If you use the valet parking option it will be $24 a day and it will be added to your incidentals and you will be responsible for covering those charges yourself.
Leaving:
On Sunday, August 7, 2016, Lambda Chi Alpha will provide shuttles to the airport for brothers flying home. Shuttles will run from 4:00am to 12:15pm, with the final shuttle leaving the Trump National at 12:15pm. Shuttles will depart every 45 minutes; please plan to ride the shuttle that will get you to the airport at least two hours prior to your departure. All attendees must depart the facility by 12:15pm.

You will learn from other brothers and contribute to group conversations and roundtables. Our goal is to strengthen the experience you offer at your Zeta. Chapter Delegates will participate on committees with members of the Grand High Zeta, as well as their undergraduate brothers, in assessing the Status of Chapters and General Assembly legislation before voting on the floor of the General Assembly.
What are my deadlines?

- Payments Due to the Office of Administration: May 15, 2016 (a late payment penalty of $150 will be assessed to any chapter or brother registering after May 15. Additional late fees of $250 will be assessed after June 15, 2016.
Does my chapter get travel reimbursement?
Official chapter delegates are eligible for travel reimbursement. Please stop by the information booth on Friday or Saturday to pick up a reimbursement form. If you are flying into Miami, you will need a copy of your itinerary/receipt of purchase to receive any reimbursement. Airfare will be reimbursed based on reasonable flight prices that will be announced to each chapter in April. Delegates who choose to drive will be reimbursed based on the mileage from their chapter house/university to the Trump National Doral. All chapter delegate reimbursements will be credited to the chapter account in August. No reimbursements will be issued after October 15, 2016.
Who will be there?
Brothers from all over North America, including the Grand High Zeta, Student Advisory Committee, Council of Presidents, Master Stewards and the General Fraternity Staff, will come together to conduct the business of the Fraternity and participate in the educational and developmental Chapter programming. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and discover new ideas for your Chapter or Colony.
Does the chapter have to send a representative?
Yes, as mandated by the Constitution and Statutory Code , The Chapter must have at least two undergraduate Members present at each General Assembly and Leadership Seminar, and the Chapter must designate which undergraduate member will be the Official Delegate representing the Chapter. Failure to have two members present for the entire conference will result in an additional $2,500 fine imposed on the chapter by the Grand High Zeta.
When can I depart?
All General Assembly and Stead Leadership participants must depart on Sunday, August 7, 2016. All participants must be checked out of the hotel by 12:15 p.m. Transportation buses will be available to the Miami International Airport (MIA) only.
Will transportation be available?
Yes, transportation will be available to and from the Miami International Airport (MIA) only, as part of the General Assembly and Stead Leadership Seminar registration cost. Transportation will be provided from the airport to the Trump National on Thursday, August 4, 2016 and from the Trump National to MIA on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Participants that wish to receive transportation from MIA must complete their flight information when registering for the conference. If you do not have this information at the time you register you will be able to go back in and update that information at a later time. Participants flying into any other local airport must make their own ground transportation arrangements.
What is the attire for the conference?
Chapter programming participants for the programming sessions and meals will be asked to dress business casual. Nice shorts and a collared shirt or polo are acceptable. Delegates must wear badge attire (shirt, tie and badge) for actual General Assembly sessions. Hats are not appropriate for any sessions. Saturday night’s dinner is a formal banquet and dress for that is black suit, tie and badge (or tuxedo). Keep in mind that you are representing your chapter and Lambda Chi Alpha at all times.
