2017 Summer Intern Applications Now Live

The Lambda Chi Alpha International Headquarters has openings for summer internships. Housing will be provided and interns will work a 40-hour week at $10/hour. Applications are due no later than 5 p.m. EST on March 31, 2017. The internships begin June 5, 2017, and conclude on July 28, 2017. Selected interns will receive up to $400 in relocation reimbursement. Course credit is acceptable.

The following positions are available:
Chapter Services/Alumni Involvement (1)
- Assess, coordinate, and record the specialized Master Steward visits. Analyze and compile results of collegian surveys and evaluations to suggest future needs and outcomes.
- Provide timely reports on where alumni volunteers are currently assisting Lambda Chi Alpha chapters, and where a need exists. Print and send volunteer certification completion certificates and when necessary High Pi packets.
- Support the Associate Director of Alumni Involvement with Advisor Academy and other curriculum development.
- Provide assistance to volunteers as needed regarding support, resources, and materials.
- Support the staff in the execution of the Stead Leadership Seminars
- Must have positive attitude, strong work ethic, be independent, professional behavior, and accept constructive feedback
Education & Harm Reduction (1)
- Assist with planning, developing, and preparing for Stead Leadership Seminar, in regards to education and programming
- Assist in planning of Harm Reduction Education for the Fall 2017 semester
- Scan and organize sign-in sheets, evaluation surveys, and other educational documents for Steward Summit and Stead Leadership Seminar
- Data review and updates regarding annual RMA and Harm Reduction Reports
- Review the Outer Circle implementation scores and identify areas of improvements for each chapter by developing an educational summary report
- Analyze educational assessment and evaluation surveys (i.e. Conclave Evaluation) and provide summary reports
- Review Lambda Chi Alpha’s current officer resources and provide recommendations
- Research other organizations’ standards/accreditation programs and provide recommendations

Communications (2)
- Help with graphics/collateral for ongoing marketing communications work
- Assist with copy writing and editing
- Create promotional videos for summer conferences
- Add content to public website
- Take photos/video at summer conference and post on social media
- Assist with production of meals/events at summer conference, including videos and PowerPoint slides
- Write and make social media posts
- Perform other tasks as requested
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Final Cut Pro, and high-end camera/video equipment
- Must have positive attitude, strong work ethic, be independent, professional behavior, and accept constructive feedback
- Pursuing a marketing, communications, new media, journalism, or related degree
