Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation Asks Brothers to Consider End of Year Gift

thumbnail of Year End GiftThe Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation has had an exciting year in 2016. As we look forward to the new year ahead of us, take a look back on some of our highlights:

  •    The Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation awarded over 100 academic and leadership programming scholarships, totaling over $90,000.

Members of Alpha-Iota Zeta (Northwestern) received three scholarships to attend the 56th General Assembly in Miami. The chapter received the Clarence Mickelson Scholarship and two George W. Spazyk Sophomore Scholarships from the Educational Foundation.
  • More than 1,000 undergraduate members participated in educational programming.

  • More than 30 AABs received training.

Along with scholarships and educational programming, the Neville Advisors College, funded by the Educational Foundation, brought alumni brothers together from across the country.  The 2016 Neville Advisors College focused on educating new advisors with less than a year of experience.

“I am so glad I came to this,” Sigma-Kappa Zeta, Eastern Michigan brother Chuck Segall said.  “The networking with alumni of all ages and geography has been worth it by itself. I hope to remember even a portion of the information presented. I have gotten numerous ideas I can take back to my Zeta.”

Segall also serves as the High Pi at Pi-Epsilon Zeta at John Carroll.

“This fraternity continues to amaze me, and 24 years after Initiation, it continues to be a guiding force in my life,” said Segall.

Please consider a year end gift to the Educational Foundation and to help assist brothers like Juan and Chuck. Please click here to make your year-end gift before December 31!
