Lambda Chi Alpha is a proud partner with the Movember Foundation. Movember is the leading charity dedicated to changing the face of men’s health. Did you know men die on average 6 years earlier than women and largely for preventable reasons? Did you know that 3 out of 4 deaths by suicides are men? Did you know that testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men? Movember is on a mission to change this. Over the past 19 years, Movember has funded over 1,250 men’s health projects focused on men’s mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
This November, Lambda Chi Alpha chapters can create chapter teams and raise funds by growing a moustache to raise vital funds for Movember and awareness for men’s health. You can sign-up your chapter at Movember.com and join our Lambda Chi Alpha network. Once you create a team, you can use the network page to be a part of the Lambda Chi Alpha Challenge.
